The City of Madison has approved a new mobile app for Madison Parks and Recreation, which will help residents utilize the City of Madison’s recreation programs.

The Madison Parks and Recreation App is a fully responsive community portal, that will launch soon. Here’s more info:

The Madison Parks and Recreation App

For several months, Madison Parks and Rec has focused much of its effort on developing a mobile-compatible experience for community members.

“The community participated in our surveys, and we listened to their needs. Keeping pace with other municipalities, moving our services to an app is a step in the right direction to provide ease of access to Parks and Recreation programming. Payments, registration, and schedules can all be accessed from the app.”

Kory Alfred, director, Madison Parks & Recreation

Desktop users can continue to access registration and program information through Webtrac. The City of Madison will roll out the application in September in time for the fall sports season.
