Live Music
Regardless of your musical tastes, there’s likely a live music performance in Huntsville this weekend that you’re going to enjoy. Check out who’s playing in town:
- Ms. Fee & Co.: Jan. 20,Reflections Lounge, 10PM. Don’t miss the chance to see one of the most dynamic and soulful performer in northern Alabama and the Tennessee Valley
- Remy Neal w/Cheryl Llewellyn: Jan. 20, Fractal Brewing, 6PM. Join synth-pop master Remy Neal on his Birthday! He has a special guest in Cheryl Llewellyn and will put on a fun show for sure!
- Black Jacket Symphony presents Fleetwood Mac’s ‘Rumours’: Jan. 21, Mark C. Smith Concert Hall, 5PM & 9PM. Black Jacket Symphony puts on two shows playing Fleetwood Mac’s iconic album, “Rumours.”
- Kristoffer LeShaun: Jan. 21, Electric Belle at Stovehouse, 7:30PM. R&B artist Kristoffer LeShaun is joined by Pat Jamar, Jaz McKenzie and Akshay Ahuja. Don’t miss this show!
- Tommy Emanuel, GCP: Jan. 21, Mars Music Hall, 7:30PM. Here’s a chance to see one of the greatest acoustic guitarists of all time.
Sports & Fitness
Not only are the Huntsville Havoc playing two home games this weekend, but there’s also some great college basketball happening in Huntsville this weekend. Here’s what’s up on the sports front:
- Simply Saturday Yoga w/Mi-Thai-Mmm: Jan. 21, Robert Shurney Legacy Center, 12PM. Don’t miss this yoga class that features multiple poses and skill levels. Namaste!
- Keel Mountain Waterfall Hike: Jan. 21, Keel Mountain Preserve, 10AM. This is a fun, out and back hike to see a really cool waterfall!
- Huntsville Havoc hockey: Jan. 20-21, VBC Propst Arena, 7PM. The Havoc have two home games this weekend against Fayetteville.
- UAH Basketball: Jan. 21, Kelly Court at Spragins Hall, 2PM (Women’s Team), 4PM (Men’s Team). The Chargers hoops teams are back home to take on West Alabama.
- Alabama A&M Basketball: Jan. 21, AAMU Event Center, 5PM. The AAMU men’s and women’s basketball teams take on Texas Southern Saturday!
Theater, Comedy + More
From watching live theater to actually being PART of a dinner theater, here are some more cool events in Huntsville this weekend:
- “Clue” presented by Theatre Huntsville: Jan. 20-29, VBCC Playhouse, 7:30PM. Catch Theatre Huntsville’s hilarious presentation of the play adapted from the film and boardgame “Clue.”
- GCW Wrestling: Jan. 21, Von Braun Center, 8PM. Game Changer pro wrestling comes to Huntsville for the first time. Should be a fun time!
- Death of a Mobster Mystery Dinner: Jan. 20-21, InstaSpace Studio (Harvest), 7PM. This is so much fun, especially if you have never done one of these. Solve this mystery that you are part of!
- Brian Simpson: Jan. 21, Stand Up Live, 6:30PM. Los Angeles-based comedian Brian Simpson is in town for his “Short Wide Neck Tour.”
- Land Trust Clean-up at Three Caves: Jan. 22, Monte Sano Nature Preserve, 1PM. Help the Land Trust of North Alabama reroute certain areas and perform routine maintenance on Wagon, Waterline and Young Kennedy Trails at Monte Sano.
