Davidson Technologies breaks ground on new headquarters

There’s ground being broken all over Madison County these days — to make way for new buildings, new businesses and new members of the Madison County community — and one of the latest sites to be cleared is for the new headquarters of Davidson Technologies.
The defense contractor’s new global headquarters will be at Redstone Gateway. Here’s what to know:
Groundbreaking at Redstone Gateway
The new Davidson Technologies building will be at 5300 Redstone Gateway and will serve as the global headquarters for the defense company. Here are a few details about the new HQ:
- The building is a 46,000 square-foot, build-to-suit development
- The targeted completion date is early 2024
- Upon completion, the building will bring the industrial park to 2.4 million square feet
