Development approved for new 1,400-home community in Limestone County

The Huntsville City Council gave the go-ahead for the development of Graham Farms in Limestone County, a 1,400-home community that will be located south of Huntsville Brownsferry Road near Greenbrier Parkway and Mooresville Road.
The City of Huntsville approved a project development agreement with Wonderland AL for the mixed-use development.
What to know about Graham Farms in Limestone County
With Huntsville’s city limits continuing to spread into Limestone County, this new development comes as Space Command, Eli Lilly and more entities are on the way, bringing more people to the area.
Here are some tidbits on Graham farms:
- The 300-acre development site is expected to be built out over 15 years
- It includes approximately 1,400 residential lots at multiple price points, including 350 multi-family units.
- Also included is 250,000 square feet of retail space in a town-square style commercial area
- It includes 15 acres of green space.
- A 100-lot section will be reserved for a 55+ active adult subdivision.
The City will extend sanitary sewer infrastructure up to the development site and make roadway improvements in the vicinity.
