Huntsville has some great dine-in + take-out options for Thanksgiving dinner

Thanksgiving is a few weeks away, and while many of you are likely planning on cooking a huge meal at home for the holiday, some of you may opt to have someone else prepare and/or serve Thanksgiving dinner for you.

Well, you’re in luck, because in the Huntsville area there are several options to either go out to eat for Thanksgiving or pick up Thanksgiving dinner and bring it home.

Where to eat Thanksgiving dinner

If you want to leave Thanksgiving dinner entirely up to someone else, you can make your plans now to eat at these local restaurants for your feast:

City Cafe Diner: Nov. 23, 6AM-10PM. City Cafe Diner will be serving a traditional turkey dinner, along with breakfast all day and their regular menu.
Commerce Kitchen: Nov. 23, 10:30AM-4PM. Choose a starter, entree, side and dessert for $60 per person. Reserve a spot by calling 256-382-6622. (They’re also offering take-out options)
Cotton Row: Nov. 23, 11AM-4PM. Enjoy a three-course meal complete with traditional turkey and cornbread dressing for $70 per person. Reserve a spot here. (they’re also offering take-out options)
Grille on Maine: Nov. 23, 11AM-4PM. Choose a starter and an entree and get all the classic fixings and desserts for $60 per person. Reserve a spot by calling 256-829-5858. (They’re also offering take-out options)
Rhythm on Monroe: Nov. 23, 3-8PM. Choose a starter and side to go with your herb-roasted turkey with stuffing and cranberry relish for $43.95 ($18.95 for children 12 and under). Reservations are suggested! Call 256-551-2311.
Revivalist at 106 Jefferson: Nov. 23, 5-10PM. The restaurant has elevated all your favorite seasonal dishes to create a delectable dining experience, surrounded by unique art and culture in the heart of Huntsville. The artisanal menu is available for $65 for adults and $30 for children 12 and under. Reservations are recommended and can be made HERE.

Want to pick-up your Thanksgiving dinner?

If you want to eat your Thanksgiving feast at home but don’t want to cook, there are several options in the Huntsville area as well:

Amerigo: Order from a full catering menu at Amerigo beginning Nov. 1, including holiday additions including lasagna and tiramisu by the pan. Purchase a whole tiramisu for $115 or $55 for the half order. Lasagna by the pan is $180 or $90 for the half order. Order by Monday, Nov. 20 at 5PM; Pick up by Wednesday, Nov. 22 at 5PM.
Char: Place your holiday catering orders beginning Nov. 1 for family style sides to share and whole pecan pies. Sides are $20 and include chipotle smashed sweet potatoes, mac + cheese, green beans, garlic mashed potatoes and creamed spinach that serves 4-6 people. Gumbo is $20 per quart and pies are $40 each. Order by Monday, Nov. 20 at 5PM; Pick up by Wednesday, Nov. 22 at 5PM.
Edgar’s: Edgar’s Thanksgiving bundles are back! They offer brown sugar glazed ham and classic sides (and, of course, their famous desserts!). You can order through their website. Pickup will be Nov. 21-22.
Moe’s Original BBQ: Get a whole smoked turkey and pan sides, including the sides that they serve on the regular! Call 256-881-1227 to order.
Ted’s Bar-B-Q: This one’s just for the meat, but the special trip will be worth it. Call 256-536-5002 to order a whole smoked turkey, smoked turkey breast or smoked ham.
