Domaine South, Butter & Egg Diner, Parm & Pepper earn health scores of 95+

In June, the Madison County Health Department conducted health inspections at more than 200 restaurants in the county, with many receiving a health score of 95 or above.

As a public service, Hville Blast will report monthly Madison County Health Department restaurant scores, featuring those eateries that scored a 95 or better on their inspection. This month, more than 100 local establishments that handle and serve food were inspected by the health department, including restaurants, schools, nursing homes, daycare centers, hospitals, grocery stores and concession stands.

Here is who made the honor roll in June of 2022:

Domaine South – 95

Domaine South, one of Huntsville’s most acclaimed eateries, is located at 103 North Side Square, Huntsville, AL 35801. The menu is spectacular, and whether you sit indoors or ourdoors, the atmosphere is wonderful.

Butter & Egg Diner – 98

The Butter & Egg Grocery can be found at at 878 Butter and Egg Rd, Hazel Green, AL 35750, and is a throwback to the old diners and gathering places that make you feel at home while serving up breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Parm & Pepper – 99

The Stovehouse has some super attractions and several reasons to head there, and Parm & Pepper is one of those reasons. This is a specialty sandwich shop featuring handcrafted sandwiches, New York style pizza slices, fresh salads and house made ice cream.
