Domaine South is one of many Wine Spectator award winners across the world
Huntsville’s very own Domaine South has won a Wine Spectator Restaurant Award, making it one of 3,505 restaurants around the globe to make the list this year.
The local restaurant, which has been around since 2015, was recognized for their tasteful wine from Oregon, California and France, as well as their authentic American and European cuisine.
Congratulations, Domaine South!
Wine Spectator has been issuing publications on wine culture since 1976. Releasing 15 issues a year, Wine Spectator gives out ratings, profiles and much more.
It is a great honor to be featured among their Restaurant Award winners — qualifications include having a wide range of interesting flavors and serving wine appropriate to their designated cuisine. Domaine South specifically won the Award of Excellence, which 2,000 other restaurants were awarded. The description is as follows:
“These wine lists, which should offer at least 90 selections, feature a well-chosen assortment of quality producers, along with a thematic match to the menu in both price and style. Whether compact or extensive, focused or diverse, these lists deliver sufficient choice to satisfy discerning wine lovers.”
