A good deed: Xfinity + A New Leash on Life band together for good

Just like the characters in “Wicked” advocate for animals, Xfinity is teaming up to do the same. A New Leash on Life will be onsite at the event with information on pet adoption and rescue in the area.
New Leash has been connecting families with cats, dogs + other furry friends for over two decades through pet adoption + fundraising to aid their mission in saving all of Alabama’s homeless animals.
Pet adoption is extremely important, + New Leash’s impact on North Alabama does not go unnoticed. Just check out some of their achievements in the community:
- 14k+ animals have found forever homes
- Huntsville has achieved a 90% live release rate (compared to 50% in previous years!)
- 3 A New Leash on Life thrift stores have opened to raise funds to sponsor animals
- Countless pets have been saved from kill shelters
You can get more info at the event on the New Leash mission, current adoptable animals + how you can get involved with their work.
