Run, don’t walk! Last Monday, the Downtown Express YMCA celebrated the ribbon cutting of its new shiny home in the historic Times Building, relocating from its former occupancy inside the Huntsville Utilities building.
The long-awaited move keeps the Y in the downtown area but accommodates the growth of Huntsville with new amenities, free parking and more.

Now, it’s really fun to stay at the YMCA 😉 Located in the beautiful 100-year old Times Building with outdoor sidewalk access, the new location has big-city vibes with added convenience for active Huntsvillians. Plus, it’s next to popular spots like SiP, The Dirty Olive and Razzo Pizzeria.
Members can now enjoy 24/7 access, offering increased flexibility for busy professionals, downtown residents and early risers alike. Parking is no longer a barrier, as free parking validation is available across the street at the Greene Street Parking Deck.

This open-concept upgraded facility also includes enhanced amenities such as:
