The holiday season is in full swing here in the Rocket City, and over the next few weeks we have a bevy of festive shows featuring music that will get you into the holiday spirit!

Candlelight Christmas @ Burritt on the Mountain

• What: Children will delight in a visit with Kris Kringle, while traditional holiday music fills the air throughout the grounds, adding to the festive spirit.

• What: Covered in Christmas features local musicians putting an alternative twist on your favorite holiday tunes, from re-imagined Christmas classics to original songs.

Huntsville Ballet’s ‘The Nutcracker’ @ Mark C. Smith Concert Hall

• What: You cannot celebrate the holiday season without seeing “The Nutcracker” at least once. Huntsville Ballet puts on one of the best performances of the classic ballet every year and is accompanied by the Huntsville Symphony Orchestra.
