21st Annual Cigar Box Guitar Festival Dance

The World’s Longest-Running Cigar Box Guitar Festival returns for its 21st year in Huntsville to raise money for music education. Night 2 of the Festival begins at 6:00 pm on Saturday, May 31. Bring your dancing shoes to Saturn Jive Dance Space (located in Studio 2008 at Lowe Mill A&E, 2211 Seminole Dr SW, Huntsville, AL 35805) and get ready to swing dance to the high-energy, genre-bending April Mae & The June Bugs. Performing on traditional and not-so-traditional handcrafted instruments, the band seamlessly blends rockabilly, jump blues, and jazz swing with infectious energy. Tickets are $15 and have limited availability.

All of the proceeds from this year’s event benefit the Microwave Dave Music Education Foundation, a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization devoted to the integration of music with learning.
