Join Crisis Services of North Alabama on Thanksgiving Day morning for the 31st Annual Turkey Trot 5k! This family-friendly Thanksgiving tradition brings together friends, family, and neighbors from the Tennessee Valley and beyond. Your $25 registration fee supports victims of sexual assault and domestic violence at the starting line of their healing journey and helps guide them through the course to survivorhood.
Walkers and Strollers Welcome!
The Trot isn’t only for runners! Walkers are more than welcome and if you’re rolling with a stroller or in a wheelchair, that’s fine too. We just ask that you start at the back of the pack for safety purposes. This event is uses chip start technology, so don’t worry about when you cross the starting line as your time will begin when you cross. Please leave your fur babies at home so we can keep the course clear and smooth.
Tiny Tot Turkey Trot
Got kids aged 5 and below? They’re in for a treat with the 100-yard “Tiny Tot Turkey Trot” dash at 9:00 am. Watch as they take on our hilariously huge turkey mascot. No need to sign up in advance – just show up and have a blast. (Did we mention it’s free?)
Door Prizes
The fun isn’t over at the finish line! Before awards, you’ll have a chance to win some cool door prizes.
