Cane Creek Canyon Nature Preserve Exploration Day

Join us for an afternoon of educational exploration at Cane Creek Canyon Nature Preserve. Hosted by Land Trust educators as well as board and community members, this drop-in event is an opportunity to learn about the early-winter forest. Though this event is targeting late-elementary age kids, the activities are suitable and enjoyable for people of all ages.
Activities will include winter tree identification, winter birds, art and craft activities, guided hikes and walks, and a number of other nature explorations.
We’ll even be joined by birds of prey shown by Rise Raptor Project – come out and see Sassy, the Red-tailed Hawk!
Location: Cane Creek Canyon Nature Preserve – 251 Loop Rd, Tuscumbia, AL 35674
In the event that weather or trail conditions require us to cancel this event, a message will be sent to the email address you use to register.
Support for this event has been provided by the Joel R. Anderson Family Foundation
