Charles Esten Returns to The Princess Theatre for One Night Only – Friday, October 17
DECATUR, AL — The Princess Theatre is thrilled to welcome back multi-talented actor, singer, and songwriter Charles Esten on Friday, October 17, 2025, for a highly anticipated return performance.
Known to millions for his roles as “Deacon Claybourne” on ABC/CMT’s
NASHVILLE and “Ward Cameron” on Netflix’s hit series
OUTER BANKS, Esten has become a global entertainer whose talents cross genres and mediums. In January 2024, he released his long-awaited independent debut album,
Love Ain’t Pretty, co-writing all 14 tracks and playing acoustic guitar throughout. His music has amassed over 26 million streams, marking a major milestone in his career.
Esten is also a Guinness World Records title holder, recognized in 2018 for releasing 54 original digital singles in 54 consecutive weeks, setting the record for “Most consecutive weeks to release an original digital single by a music act.”
Beyond television and recording success, Esten has graced the stage of the Grand Ole Opry over 180 times, toured extensively across the U.S., U.K., and Europe—including a headlining performance at London’s Royal Albert Hall—and built a devoted international fanbase.
