Creekin’ with Kayla at Monte Sano Nature Preserve
Join Educator Naturalist Kayla Wilson for a morning exploring Fagan Creek on the Monte Sano Nature Preserve. During our time together, we’ll get our feet wet looking for critters, talking about the creek ecosystem, and appreciating Alabama’s wonderful aquatic biodiversity. This will be a time of discovery – who knows what we’ll find?

Ages: 6 years old and up. (Siblings are welcome.)
Participants are encouraged to wear shoes and clothes that can get wet and probably a little bit dirty. Please bring a water bottle to keep yourself hydrated. The stream is shaded, so the sun shouldn’t be a problem.
Location: Monte Sano Nature Preserve, 500 Cleermont Drive, Huntsville, AL 35801
This preserve has multiple trailheads. Be sure to come to the right one!
