Beloved American folk rock band Dawes, featuring brothers Taylor and Griffin Goldsmith, is set to perform at the historic Princess Theatre on Friday, September 12, bringing with them the homegrown, sticky, and raw depth of their latest album, Oh Brother.

Oh Brother marks a bold new chapter for the California-based band — introspective yet accessible, all while maintaining their beloved sense of sincerity. Recorded in a small room over a couple of weeks, the album captures the essence of Dawes at their most authentic. The collection of songs has some dark jokers, some pulverizers, some movers and groovers – all in an attempt to shed light on the variety of underlying joys and anxieties inherent to being alive.

Celebrating 15 years of musical collaboration, Oh Brother honors Taylor and Griffin’s creative journey and points toward the band’s future. Dawes has long been known for seamlessly blending folk rock, piano ballads, and sprawling jams — all while maintaining an immediately recognizable sound and a freedom from expectations.
