Downtown Rescue Mission Hosts Free Community Independence Day Picnic
What: The Downtown Rescue Mission invites the public to attend a free Independence Day Picnic on Thursday, July 2nd from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Downtown Rescue Mission, 1400 Evangel Drive Northwest. Activities will include food, shaved ice, games, a bounce house, karaoke, face painting and prizes. There is no cost for food or activities.
When: The public event will be held on Thursday, July 2nd from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Where: Downtown Rescue Mission, 1400 Evangel Drive NW, Huntsville, AL
Why This is Important: The annual Independence Day Picnic brings our community together for food, fun and fellowship, while raising awareness of the life-changing work taking place at the Downtown Rescue Mission.
