Standing at the forefront of modern blues, Johanson fuses deep groove, raw guitar fire, sharp songwriting, and a forward-leaning rock edge. Rooted in rock, blues, and modern influences, his music is soulful, powerful, and driven by a deep connection to the guitar.

Johanson’s Ruf Records debut, The Deep and the Dirty, surged to #1 on the Billboard Blues Chart, marking a breakout moment that cemented him as one of the genre’s most vital new voices. He followed that success with Live In Mississippi, his sixth Top 10 Billboard-charting release, capturing the fire of a stage show that has been packing rooms across the United States and Europe.
