If you’ve ever wanted to make a real, tangible difference in a single day, here’s your moment — and yes, it involves carpet, camaraderie, and carbs.

On Saturday, November 29, we’re gathering at the Huntsville Military Women’s Community Center (140 Research Blvd., Madison, AL 35758) from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM to lay new, environmentally friendly flooring that will make our space healthier, safer, and more welcoming for the women veterans we serve. This isn’t just a home-improvement project — it’s a hands-on way to help create a healing environment from the ground up… literally.

No special skills? Perfect. We’ll teach you everything you need to know.
Don’t want to crawl around on the floor? Also perfect. We need folks to help measure, move small items, keep things organized, and occasionally remind us which end of the carpet goes where. (Kidding. Mostly.)

And because no good service project runs on sheer willpower alone, we’ll keep you fueled with drinks and plenty of pizza. You bring the helping hands; we’ll bring the snacks and questionable jokes.
