Songwriter and bandleader M.C. Taylor creates music that feels both familiar and impossible to categorize. Drawing from the American songbook, his work blends the steady pulse of acoustic guitar and mandolin, the soulful pull of gospel, the haunting slide of steel guitar, and the swirling textures of organ and electric piano.
