Soprano Phyllis Lewis-Hale & pianist Karen Laubengayer perform “Songs of Love, Sorrow, Hope, & Healing” on Thur, Feb 15 @ 7:30pm.

UAH Constellation Concert Series presents Songs of Love, Sorrow, Hope, & Healing, a Black History Month collaboration with UAH Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. Soprano Phyllis Lewis-Hale and pianist Karen Laubengayer perform Afro-Creole songs and Negro spirituals, as we explore together the historical and cultural differences between these two uniquely American musical genres.

Thursday, February 15 @ 7:30pm, performing in Roberts Recital Hall

In-person: $10 Gen Ad // $5 Senior/Student (Debit or credit card only)

Join us for performance master class given by Dr Lewis-Hale, coaching singers from UAH and AA&M. The class is also on Thur, Feb 15 at 9:40-10:50am, free and open to all.
