Live-stream: Constellation presents Afro-Creole Songs & Negro Spirituals

UAH Constellation Concert Series presents Songs of Love, Sorrow, Hope, & Healing, a Black History Month collaboration with UAH Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. Soprano Phyllis Lewis-Hale and pianist Karen Laubengayer perform Afro-Creole songs and Negro spirituals, as we explore together the historical and cultural differences between these two uniquely American musical genres.

Join us for performance master class given by Dr Lewis-Hale, coaching singers from UAH and AA&M. The class is also on Thur, Feb 15 at 9:40-10:50am, free and open to all.
