Liz Hurley Ribbon Run 5K

The 21st Annual Liz Hurley Ribbon Run 5K begins at the corner of Lowe Avenue and Adams Street in downtown Huntsville.

The Survivors’ Walk is a free event for all breast cancer survivors that begins at 8AM on race day.  Survivors will be cheered on as they walk to the finish line on Adams.

For 21 years, Ribbon Run has provided North Alabama women with cutting-edge technology and equipment to screen and diagnose breast cancer early. Ribbon Run also invests in patient lives by providing Surviving and Thriving classes, so survivors have access to essential resources and a powerful community of fellow survivors. Last year’s Ribbon Run hosted an outstanding 6,255 walkers and runners, all in support of making a difference for local breast cancer patients and survivors through the Liz Hurley Breast Cancer Fund at Huntsville Hospital Foundation.

In order to raise awareness for the event, the Women Leaders of Polaris group at Huntsville will be in attendance with a show-stopping pink Polaris Slingshot to allow for some great visuals on race-day!

All proceeds stay local and help more patients become survivors at the Huntsville Hospital and Madison Hospital Breast Centers!
