LOCAL STORY IDEA: “Try Pilates on Us” — Free Community Classes in Huntsville

Hello Hville Blast Team,

My name is Jaydah Lopez, and I’m reaching out from Club Pilates Jones Valley with a community story idea we’d love for your team to consider.

We believe trying something new shouldn’t cost you. That’s why Club Pilates Jones Valley offers free introductory Pilates classes to give members of our community an opportunity to experience reformer Pilates in a welcoming environment before deciding whether it’s right for them.

We’d love to bring attention to this initiative through a potential feature called “Try Pilates on Us: Opening the Door to Wellness in Huntsville.”

Our introductory classes are offered Wednesdays at 6:30 PM, Fridays at 1:00 PM, and select Saturdays at 12:00 PM, with 12 spots available per class.

We see an opportunity to share a story about making wellness more approachable, helping people step outside their comfort zones, and introducing community members to a form of movement they may have been curious about but haven’t yet tried.

A feature could include a behind-the-scenes look at a reformer Pilates class, an interview with our studio owner about the inspiration behind this initiative, and conversations with first-time participants about what it feels like to try Pilates for the first time.

We would love to coordinate a visit with your team and explore the possibility of featuring this community experience on air.
