Get ready to explore the fascinating world of fungi and lichens! From colorful mushrooms to crusty lichens growing on tree bark, young scientists will investigate these remarkable organisms and discover the important roles they play in healthy ecosystems. Through observation and hands-on exploration, participants will learn how fungi and lichens support biodiversity, recycle nutrients, and help keep our natural world thriving.
Ages: 6–12; Groups divided into 6-8 and 9-12 year olds.
