On June 18 at 7 PM, Opera Huntsville presents its 6th annual Juneteenth celebration. Juneteenth: a Journey through Jazz explores the genres, composers, and voices that made jazz what it is today. Featured jazz legends include Duke Ellington, Billie Holiday, and Ella Fitzgerald.
This program is possible thanks to Arts Huntsville and the Alabama State Council on the Arts. Admission is open to all.
