Silverada Brings their Evolutionary Sound to The Princess Theatre on Halloween Night
Decatur, AL – October 31, 2025 – What better way to mark Halloween than with Silverada, the band formerly known as Mike and the Moonpies, as they take the historic Princess Theatre stage for a night of electrifying music and reinvention?
Texas-born band, Silverada—composed of Mike Harmeier (vocals/guitar), Taylor Englert (drums), Catlin Rutherford (guitar), Omar Oyoque (bass), and Zachary Moulton (pedal steel guitar)—embodies evolution. Once the quintessential workingman’s country band, their sound has expanded, and now their name reflects that transformation. Their latest album, Silverada, not only reintroduces the band but redefines their place in the Americana and roots rock landscape.
Much of Silverada was born in Harmeier’s backyard studio, where he immersed himself in an eclectic mix of literature—everything from astronomy books to sci-fi novels—to push his songwriting into uncharted territory. Inspired by Jeff Tweedy’s approach to lyricism, Harmeier spent a month crafting songs through freewriting exercises and wordplay, resulting in some of the band’s most adventurous material yet.
Recorded at Yellow Dog Studios with longtime producer Adam Odor, the album blends Silverada’s signature sharp storytelling and country roots with an eagerness to break the mold, chase new sounds, and push the boundaries. Tracks like “Stubborn Son” (a tribute to Harmeier’s father) showcase their deep connection to family and tradition, while “Doing It Right” nods to their throwback country influences. Meanwhile, songs like “Load Out” celebrate the blue-collar grind of musicians and road crews alike.
Silverada’s Halloween night performance at the Princess Theatre is set to be a high-energy, genre-blending show unlike anything fans have seen before. With a setlist that spans their country roots, rock influences, and fearless new material, this is more than just a concert—it’s a statement of where Silverada is going next.
Presale to The Princess Theatre members will being March 12. Public tickets will go on sale March 14. Day of show, doors will open at 6:00 p.m. with performance beginning at 7:00 p.m.
