Speaker Series: Urban Wildfire Prevention and Awareness

Land Trust of North Alabama is pleased to offer the public an important information session about urban wildfire prevention and management. We are fortunate to have a panel of experts from related fields to speak to this topic, including the City of Huntsville Fire Department, the Alabama Forestry Commission, and the Society of American Foresters to speak on the particular complications of fires in a setting both urban and forested, and how residents can work to fireproof their properties and respond appropriately during a wildfire outbreak.
