Danny Davis Studio RR7 of Tangled String Studios in distinctive Lowe Mill ARTS & Entertainment is hosting an amazing night of music with Cedric Burnside. In 2013, Burnside was honored with the Memphis Blues Award for “Drummer of the Year,” marking his third win and solidifying his reputation as a dynamic and masterful force in the blues scene. His momentum continued as he earned his fourth overall Blues Music Award in May 2014, achieving his third consecutive win in the “Instrumentalist – Drums” category. Known for his precision, creativity, and soulful expression, Burnside clinched the prestigious award again in both 2019 and 2020. With each accolade, he has proven himself an extraordinary craftsman of rhythm, infusing every beat with unmatched energy, depth, and musicality—a true testament to the heart and soul of blues music.
