The Alabama Troubadours Celebrate The Singer Songwriters of the 1970’s

DECATUR, Ala. — The Alabama Troubadours, featuring Donna Hall, Rick Carter, Stan Foster, and William “Moose” Harrell, are bringing a new concert experience to the Princess Theatre on October 17 with A Reflection of a Generation, a heartfelt musical journey honoring the singer-songwriters of the 1970s.

After three years of touring in celebration of the music of John Prine, The Alabama Troubadours are excited to share a new production filled with the timeless songs, rich harmonies, and unforgettable voices that helped define a generation.

The concert will feature beloved music from artists such as James Taylor, Carly Simon, Dan Fogelberg, Carole King, Cat Stevens, Bonnie Raitt, Linda Ronstadt, Gordon Lightfoot, Jimmy Buffett, and many more. With the addition of keyboardist Michael Rives and drummer John Hamilton, The Alabama Troubadours bring these songs to life with warmth, skill, and deep affection for the era.

A Reflection of a Generation invites audiences to revisit the songs that shaped the 1970s and continue to resonate today—songs of love, longing, hope, reflection, and connection.
