The Silver Silos Album Release feat. McKenzie Lockhart + More
If you haven’t seen The Silver Silos in a while (or ever), THIS is the night to see them as they celebrate the release of their debut album “Alabama Stars”!
Muscle Shoals native McKenzie Lockhart opens the show at 7pm, wooing us and wowing us with her songs about good love and the Badlands.
At 8:00, the Silos play the album in its entirety, with a little help from their friends James Irvin (The Nerve, Microwave Dave + the Nukes), Mike Cole (Matt Prater Band), and Lisa Chang (Narae Jayu, Damnit Doll, et al).
Recorded at Clearwave Recording Studio and produced by Jeremy Stephens, (whose credits include Alabama Shakes, Lamont Landers, Taylor Hunnicutt, Jason Isbell, Gregg Allman, Drop Diver, Camacho…) “Alabama Stars” is an 11-song LP featuring songs from throughout The Silver Silos’ eight years (so far) as a band.
Released on 10 Ton Records, the album will be available for purchase at the show on compact disc and luxurious 180 gram black vinyl, in addition to other merch.
The Silver Silos and Stovehouse are presenting this all-ages event for no cover charge, and we promise to get you out the door around 9 ish.
