Wes Bayliss of The Steel Woods Brings Solo Show to The Princess Theatre

Decatur, AL — Singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Wes Bayliss takes the spotlight at The Princess Theatre with a powerful solo performance rooted in gospel truth and Southern tradition on November 7.

Raised in Woodland, Alabama, Bayliss grew up surrounded by a family of musicians and began touring the Southeast as a child with a gospel band, sharpening his live performance skills from an early age. As frontman of The Steel Woods, he helped shape one of Southern rock’s most respected bands, releasing four acclaimed albums—Straw in the Wind, Old News, All of Your Stones, and On Your Time—while building a devoted national following.

Now stepping into a new chapter, Bayliss returns to his gospel roots with music anchored in biblical truth and delivered with a voice that is both soulful and commanding. His debut solo single, Product of Grace, now streaming everywhere, offers the first glimpse of this bold direction.

Audiences can look forward to an evening of authentic storytelling, heartfelt conviction, and songs that carry the weight of tradition while pointing to new horizons.

Presale to The Princess Theatre members will begin Wednesday, Sept 17. Public tickets will go on sale Fri, Sept 19. Day of show, doors will open at 6:00 p.m. with performance beginning at 7:00 p.m.
