Guess what? It’s almost weekend time, and that means we have plenty of cool stuff to tell you about in the way of events happening in and around the Rocket City.

1. Galaxy of Lights walking nights

This awesome holiday feature begins this weekend at Huntsville Botanical Garden. Walking Nights offers a close-up experience, where you can wander at your own pace through fresh new displays.

2. Gingerbread Marketplace

The Gingerbread Marketplace is a huge holiday shopping experience for those looking for UNIQUE gift items just in time for Christmas.

3. UAH Volleyball

The Chargers are at home hosting in-state rivals Montevallo (Friday) and AUM (Saturday) at Kelly Court at Spragins Hall.

4. Athens Farmers Market’s Wine + Celebrity Chef Event

The Athens Farmers Market will host a dynamic culinary and entertainment event, blending the charm of local vendors, the artistry of live music, and the elegance of wine and culinary tastings.

5. Huntsville Full Moon Releasing Ceremony
