You can expect one more freeze before spring in Huntsville

The first day of spring is officially March 19, and lately we have been treated to some pretty awesome spring weather. However, typical of Alabama weather, we will experience some freezing temperatures before welcoming spring this coming week.

Here’s what we can expect as spring in Huntsville begins:

Spring in Huntsville

After the thunderstorms subside Friday, we can expect highs in the 60s and 70s throughout the weekend before a cold snap comes through.

In fact, lows will dip below freezing Monday night, and despite being a bright and sunny day Tuesday, temperatures will dip into the high 30s and the high will only be in the mid-50s.

Look for highs in the 60s and lows in the 40s the rest of the week next week.

Also, it would not be spring in Alabama without a good bit of rain. This coming week, rain is expected basically every day through the rest of the month — save a day here and there.
