Gas prices now under $4 per gallon in Alabama

While the price of gas in Alabama is still more expensive than most consumers would like to see—an average of $3.86 per gallon this week—prices have seen a dramatic decrease in the last couple of weeks.

Alabama’s average gallon of gas is significantly cheaper than the national average, which currently stands at $4.24 per gallon.

Huntsville gas prices down to $3.86 per gallon

According to AAA, Madison County’s gas prices are right the state average. While some counties in the state are still reporting average prices over $4 per gallon.
