Get ready for spring sports here in the Rocket City

⚾ SPRING SPORTS! It's not too early to start making plans to cheer on your local spring sports teams!

We realize that the Rocket City is fresh off a deep freeze, but it is never too early to think about spring activities, and we have a ton of cool sports to cheer on in the spring.

Basketball and hockey season are still going on in the spring, and will make way for baseball and soccer. So check out these possibilities:

UAH spring sports

Rocket City Trash Pandas

The Trash Pandas, the Double-A affiliate of the Los Angeles Angels, play 70 home games at Toyota Field, and they are tons of fun for the entire family.

The first home game is April 9. Check out the full schedule here.

Huntsville City FC

The Huntsville City Football Club begins their second season ever this spring, but like the Trash Pandas, their season lasts well into September, so there are plenty of chances to get to cheer them on at Joe Davis Stadium.

Don’t forget the Havoc

Although the season is starting to wind down by the time spring hits — and hockey is not really considered one of the “spring sports,” the Huntsville Havoc do still play past March. The regular season lasts through the first week of April, and playoffs will begin afteer that, which could have the Havoc playing well into April.
