Hey Huntsvillians, are you ready for the weekend? There’s plenty to do in and around Huntsville this weekend, including some great live music events, a crawfish festival, college baseball and a bevy of Earth Day events around town.

- 45 Surprise: April 21, Stovehouse, 7PM. 45 Surprise has a deep bench of professional musicians and a comprehensive repertoire to create the perfect playlist to fuel the crowd!
- Shaky Graves: April 22, Mars Music Hall, 7PM. Coem out and see this Americana musician from Austin, Texas. His music combines blues, folk, country,and rock and roll!
- Dusty Smith: April 22, Stella’s Elixir Lounge, 5PM. Come enjoy a tasty cocktail and listen to the tunes of singer/songwriter Dusty Smith!
- Eric Rhodes Band: April 22, Lone Goose, 8PM. Combining rock and pop and R&B, this local band is fun to watch and the Lobe Goose is a fabulous venue!
- Gladys Knight: April 23, Mark C. Smith Concert Hall, 7:30PM. One of music’s most iconic voices comes to the Von Braun Center. Don’t miss it!

- Huntsville Comic & Pop Culture Expo: April 21-23, Von Braun Center, Fri. 3PM, Sat., 10AM, Sun. 11AM. Special guests include Star Trek legend William Shatner, a Narutu cast reunion and more!
- MidCity Crawfish Festival: April 22, The Camp at MidCity, 12PM-4PM. The free New Orleans-inspired festival will include musical performances and entertainment by several groups and includes a crawfis- filled menu!
- Village of Providence Farmers Market: April 22, Village of Providence, 9AM. Shop around for local produce, arts and crafts and more at the Providence Farmers Market!
- Cats: April 22, Huntsville High School, 2PM. See Huntsville High School’s performance of the beloved musical “Cats.”
- Ali Siddiq: April 23, Stand Up Live, 8PM. The early show for this stand up act is already sold out! Don’t miss comedian and speaker Ali Siddiq!
Sports + Fitness
If you want to watch some baseball, this is a great weekend in the Rocket City! Between college baseball and Minor League Baseball, there are six games you can watch in town this weekend! When it comes to sports there are some great weekend events in Huntsville:
- Rocket City Trash Pandas vs. Biloxi: April 21-21, Toyota Field, 6:30PM Fri & Sat, 2PM Sun. Your Rocket City Trash Pandas host the Biloxi Shuckers for three games this weekend!
- Cornhole for A Cure: April 22, Lucy’s BARge (Athens), 11AM. Face some great competition and win some big money prizes in this cornhole tournament benefiting cancer research!
- Rocket City Roller Derby: April 22, National Speleological Society, 4PM. Cheer on these exciting and unique athletes in top-notch roller derby competition.
- Alabama A&M Baseball: April 21-23, Bulldog Field, 12PM. Alabama A&M hosts Jackson State for three games this weekend.
