The first weekend of August is upon us, and we have no shortage of fun events to tell you about. From baseball to comedy shows to an incredible live music slate, this weekend will be literally hot, but figuratively cool.

1. Trash Pandas vs Barons @ Toyota Field
- What: The Trash Pandas are back in town to take on in-state rival the Birmingham Barons. The series includes three games this weekend.
