GRAND OPENING: Rocket City E-Bike Rentals—what you need to know
Warmer weather and sunnier skies have us itching for some outdoor activities in Huntsville—and one new small business in Huntsville is helping us scratch that itch.
Rocket City Electric Bike Rentals is opening this weekend, giving Huntsville a new way to explore our beautiful city. Read on for more details.
How Rocket City E-Bike Rentals works
Rocket City Electric Bike Rentals was founded by Nathan Tucker and Ash Moorer, Huntsville natives.
“With Rocket City Electric Bike Rentals, we hope to provide unique experiences in Huntsville, AL to locals, their guests, and visitors that show the many beautiful parts of our city in a fun, active way, promoting healthy lifestyle and commerce to our city and its local businesses.”
Rocket City Electric Bike Rentals’ Website
Rocket City Electric Bike Rental sources their fleet of e-bikes (which are super stylish, by the way) from Rad Power Bikes, a company based in Seattle, Washington. Their main bike is the Rad Runner 2, which is easy to use and can reach speeds of up to 20 miles per hour!
You can rent one of Rocket City Electric Bike Rentals’ e-bikes for a half or full day or pay hourly for a short excursion.
- Half-Day: $60
- Full Day: $85
- Hourly: $20 / hour
Plus, be on the lookout this spring for bike tours. They’ll be exploring the city and all its hidden gems by e-bike.
Sounds like a fun adventure, right? Here’s when and where you’ll be able to get the e-bike experience.
The grand opening
Rocket City Electric Bike Rentals is located in the same location as Fowwow Designs, and they’re opening for business this Saturday with a fun grand opening celebration.
They will have live music, games, food, raffles, prizes and—the best part—free test rides. Let’s go exploring, Huntsville!
- Location: 108 Howe Ave NE, Huntsville, AL 35801
