Hanukkah (no, we’re not going to discuss how it’s spelled) starts on the evening of Sunday, December 18 and runs through sundown on December 26 this year.

Huntsville’s always got some festivities to celebrate, with Hanukkah menorah lightings, sufganiyot (jelly-filled donuts), latkes and drediels.

But this year, there’s even more going on to celebrate the Festival of Lights. Here’s what’s happening in Huntsville this year.

Menorah Lighting at Bridge Street

Every year in front of the Apple store, Hanukkah festivities light up Bridge Street’s main corridor as Chabad of Huntsville celebrates with the community. This year, there will be hot latkes, street performers, kids crafts and, of course, the lighting of the Hanukkah menorah.
