The 4th of July is coming up, and if you are looking for ways to celebrate our country’s independence, you are in luck, because there’s plenty to do in and around Huntsville for Independence Day.

Here are just a few suggestions:

1. Independence Day at MidCity District

Celebrate the 4th at the MidCity District, with events happening all week long. On the 4th, enjoy live music at The Camp and 20 minutes of spectacular fireworks live with Madison City Orchestra.

2. Trash Pandas Independence Weekend

What’s more American than baseball? Celebrating the 4th of July while watching baseball! Catch the Trash Pandas at home at Toyota Field July 4-6, with fireworks all weekend.

3. Town of Gurley 4th of July Celebration

Enjoy live music, family fun and — of course — fireworks at the annual Town of Gurley 4th of July Celebration.

4. Star Spangled Celebration in Madison

Start celebrating Independence Day early at Dublin Park in Madison. This July 3 event includes food, live music and a fabulous fireworks display.

5. Spirit of America Festival

Head to Decatur’s Point Mallard Park for the annual Spirit of America Festival. This event includes live music, food trucks, a car show, hot dog eating contest, local vendors and more.
