Road closures for Panoply

The Huntsville Police Department advises residents to expect road closures and traffic pattern changes in downtown Huntsville in preparation for the festival and during the festival.

Road closures began Monday, April 20, and will remain in effect through Monday, April 27.

To ensure the safety of festival-goers and allow for setup and breakdown, the following traffic adjustments are in place:

  • Church Street is closed between Clinton Avenue and Williams Avenue.
  • Williams Avenue (westbound lane) is closed between Clinton Avenue and Dr. Joseph E. Lowery Boulevard.
  • Monroe Street (northbound lane) on the east side of the Von Braun Center is reduced to one lane.

All roadways are expected to reopen and normal traffic flow restored by 5PM Monday, April 27, following the removal of all barricades and fencing.

HPD encourages drivers to use caution in the area, follow all posted detours and signage and allow additional time for travel.
