Athens-Limestone County Tinsel Trail Tree Lighting Ceremony: Stroll through a dazzling display of beautifully decorated Christmas trees from Nov. 21 to Dec. 31
Athens-Limestone County Christmas Open House: Experience the season’s magic Nov. 22-24 with the Merchants Alley Tree Lighting, Ice Skating on The Square, photos with Santa and the festive Merry Market on Marion.
Athens Christmas Parade: This is awesome, if you have never been. This year, it will take place Dec. 5 at 6PM.
Athens Main Street 14^th Annual Sippin’ Cider Festival: Participating merchants prepare and offer complimentary sample tastings of their favorite hot cider recipe. Cider enthusiasts will vote by ballot for their favorite, and the cider receiving the most votes wins the coveted Cider Cup. Dec. 14.
