Independence Day is just around the corner, and that means cookouts, parties, parades and fireworks.

So, if you are looking for a spot to see some fabulous fireworks displays, we have you covered. Here are some places around the Huntsville area to catch a cool fireworks show:

Independence Day Celebration at MidCity

  • What: Experience a whole weekend of celebration in Huntsville’s MidCity District. Festivities include food trucks, live music, face painting, the famous watermelon carving contest and a Friday fireworks show.

Trash Pandas 4th of July Festival

  • What: Join the Trash Pandas for a festival on Independence Day, culminating with a July 4th fireworks display. There will be games for the kids, food, face painting, snow cones, cotton candy, live music and the Trash Pandas game at Knoxville playing on the video board.

Spirit of America Festival

  • What: Head to Point Mallard in Decatur and enjoy live music, more than 100 arts and craft vendors, dozens of food trucks, a corn hole tournament, hot dog eating contest and a fireworks show to close out the night.
