Huntsville airport sets new monthly passenger record in June
Reading time: 2 minutes

The Huntsville airport has been on pace to break its passenger record for the year, a record set in 2024. But a record has already been broken thus far in 2025.
The number of passengers in and out of HSV in June was higher than any month in the airport’s history.
Huntsville airport numbers show impressive growth

This past month, 160,455 passengers flew in and out of HSV, shattering the record for any month in the airport’s history (9.1% higher than June 2024, as well).
May 2025 was the second highest record month with 156,967 passengers traveling through HSV. The airport has seen a 4.7% increase in passenger traffic so far in the year 2025.
The availability of more seats is the main reason for the increase in passenger numbers, according to HSV officials.
“We have seen our airline partners invest in HSV with bigger planes, more route frequency and new destinations. Our community is embracing these upgrades and additions to our schedule by choosing to book their flights from their hometown airport.”
Joey Ceci, HSV Board Chair
