Huntsville City FC hosts new Blastoff Battle Invitational soccer tournament

Soccer lovers, listen up: Presidents Day weekend in Huntsville is going to include a fabulous soccer tournament right here in the Rocket City.
HCFC is hosting the inaugural Huntsville City FC Blastoff Battle Invitational at Joe Davis Stadium. Here’s more info:
The Huntsville City FC Blastoff Battle Invitational
The tournament takes place Presidents Day weekend (Feb. 16 – 18) at the Wicks Family Field at Joe Davis Stadium. The University of Alabama in Huntsville’s varsity soccer team will be one of the teams participating, along with Chattanooga FC and South Georgia Tormenta.
The schedule is as follows:
- Feb. 16, 4PM, Chattanooga FC vs. Tormenta
- Feb. 16, 7PM: Huntsville City FC vs. UAH
- Feb. 18, 11AM: Chattanooga FC vs. UAH
- Feb. 18, 2:15PM: Huntsville City FC vs. Tormenta FC
General admission tickets for the Huntsville City FC Blastoff Battle Invitational are still available here. At $25, General admission weekend passes give fans access to all four matches, while $15 single day passes provide fans tickets to two matches, either on Feb. 16 or 18.
Huntsville City FC preseason
HCFC has a few more preseason games scheduled at home over the next several weeks:
- Feb. 10, 2PM: vs Chattanooga
- Feb. 24, 2PM: vs. Birmingham Legion FC
- March 8, 7PM: vs. Atlanta United 2
