With this new contact, Pinnacle will lead the initial development for the T-7A MTS from Huntsville. As the prime contractor, Pinnacle will develop and deploy a comprehensive, scalable and technology-enabled training solution—integrating advanced training devices, smart classrooms, interactive multimedia instruction, engineering and logistics support.
Pinnacle’s parent company, Akima, said Huntsville’s advanced engineering ecosystem and history with Redstone Arsenal, Army and Air Force organizations and NASA make it “the ideal location to spearhead immersive, technology-driven training for the Air Force.”
“This win highlights Akima’s ability to deliver sophisticated training and logistics capabilities at scale to meet the evolving mission needs of the U.S. Air Force. Pinnacle’s deep expertise in immersive, mission-ready training ensures maintainers are equipped to support the T-7A with confidence.”
Scott Rauer, President of Akima’s Facilities Solutions Group
This particular project will modernize how maintainers prepare for the T-7A Red Hawk aircraft while building upon the city’s legacy in simulation, readiness and aerospace innovation.
Akima opened its 35,000-square-foot Huntsville office in September of this year.
