Reading time: 2 minutes
If you’ve read our recent piece on highly recommended Huntsville-based bands, then you’re likely already excited about the thriving Huntsville music scene. With Dweeby’s upcoming debut single and EP, there’s even more for Huntsville music fans to be excited about.
Here are the talented local voices who have joined forces to form this new super group:
- Jerome Villarreal Jr. from Them Damn Dogs and Paper Comet
- Wanda Wesolowski from The Wanda Band
- Aaron Anderson from King Jeans and Jayne & The Huntsmen
The band has announced their first single “I’m Just Sayin'” will be released everywhere this Friday and has already provided a snippet of it on their Instagram.
The gloomy lyrics contrast nicely with its bouncy instrumentation and soaring chorus and can inject something new into your fall playlists.
This song, however, is just the first taste from their upcoming debut EP entitled The Dweepee, which will be released everywhere on October 25th.
The five-song EP is a consistently fun and catchy listen that combines the best from each of the member’s other projects.
To hear the album in full on its release date, check out the band’s EP release party where they will be reviving the Boardman HSV venue.
For fans of Huntsville’s local music scene, this release is one you don’t want to miss!
