Huntsville Havoc 2025-26 season now over after playoff loss

After a great run, and a highly successful season for the Huntsville Havoc, the team fell short of a championship again this year after being eliminated from the Southern Professional Hockey League playoffs over the weekend.
The Havoc fell to Knoxville 4-2 at Propst Arena Saturday night, losing the playoffs series two games to none.

Another winning season for the Havoc

The Havoc finished the 2025-26 season second in the league with a 32-20 record. This was Huntsville’s sixth straight winning season, and the team’s 10th winning season in the last 12 years.
Season highlights include:
- Brian Wilson named SPHL Player of the Week Dec. 15-21; and SPHL Goaltender of the Month for March
- Wilson also led the SPHL in wins (24), shootout wins (four), minutes, and saves, while ranking second in shutouts (four – tied), fourth in save percentage (0.924 – tied), and fifth in goals against average (2.35).
- Wilson and Alex Proctor named SPHL Co-Players of the Week March 23-29
- Jack Jaunich named SPHL Player of the Week Feb. 23-March 1
- Austin Alger named SPHL Player of the Week Feb. 2-8.
