The Huntsville Havoc’s 2021-22 season is not over. Thanks to a sweep of the Evansville Thunderbolts in the Southern Professional Hockey League quarterfinals, the Havoc will play a semifinal series against Roanoke starting Thursday.

A 3-2 win over the weekend in Evansville closed out the series and gave the Havoc new life in their quest for another SPHL championship.

If the Havoc can get by Roanoke this weekend, they would play in the SPHL finals for the fifth time in team history, and have a chance to capture the team’s fourth SPHL championship.

The Havoc won back-to-back SPHL titles in 2018 and 2019.
