Huntsville Havoc are now bound for 2024 SPHL playoffs

In their 20th anniversary season, the Huntsville Havoc are playoff bound. The Havoc have not secured a seeding just yet, but they are guaranteed a spot in the Southern Professional Hockey League playoffs.

SPHL President’s Cup Playoffs
Huntsville’s 3-0 win last weekend over Evansville secured them a spot in the SPHL playoffs and a chance to win the President’s Cup. The Havoc have won three straight games and currently sit in 5th place.
Eight teams make the SPHL Playoffs, and only six of the spots are secured, so the Havoc’s opponent in the first round of the playoffs has yet to be determined. In the best case scenario, Huntsville could finish 2nd in the league.
Huntsville only has eight games remaining on the regular season schedule.
Huntsville Havoc President’s Cup wins
In the team’s 20 years of existence, they have made won three President’s Cups — in the 2009-10 season, the 2017-18 season and 2018-19 season — and have made the playoffs 16 times.
We will see if the team adds another President’s Cup to its trophy case this year.
